WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Two men face drug charges after police stopped a car around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police say they saw a vehicle drop a passenger off at 30th Street and Princess Place Drive. The tag was expired, and a passenger got out of the vehicle and tried to walk away.
Police stopped him, frisked him and came across heroin and $1,100. The driver of the car then gave police permission to search the vehicle, where they found cocaine, heroin and $700.
As a result, 25-year-old Rocky Leon Jones, Jr. has been charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell a deliver heroin and cocaine, and 27-year-old Teshaunya Bogan has been charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both have since posted bond.
