WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – According to officials with the Wilmington Police Department, while driving through the Houston Moore housing area early Thursday morning, officers recognized a suspect who was on the Wilmington Housing Authority trespassing list.
As they attempted to speak with the suspect, 33-year-old Herbert Alex Bradley, Bradley threw down a plastic bag containing 10 individual bags of marijuana.
As a result, Bradley was charged with second degree trespassing, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
Bradley remains in the New Hanover County jail under a $10,000 bond.
