Police searching for car connected to suspected drive-by house shooting | 911

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Around 7:21 p.m. Tuesday, Wilmington Police responded to a shots fired call in the 1200 block of Grace street, where they say someone in a car shot at a home with people sitting on a porch, according to New Hanover County dispatch officials.

The house was struck twice, and police saw bullet holes near where the 19-year-old victim had been sitting.

One man got up and ran, falling and scraping himself somehow.

No one else was injured.

Police are looking for the car, a gold Crown Victoria or Mercury, and they are looking to charge the shooter with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

The case is under investigation.
