Authorities make arrest following shooting; teen taken to hospital | 911
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Detectives with the Wilmington Police Department have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that happened Thursday in the 1100 block of Campbell Street.
According to officials, Gregory Alan Adams, 29, has been taken into custody and is expected to be charged with attempted murder.
A 15-year-old male victim of the shooting has been taken to New Hanover Regional Center to be treated.
Witnesses say that Adams was also involved with another altercation earlier in the day, where a separate victim received minor injuries.
Adams has a long criminal history, according to authorities.
