CHARGED: Man arrested for attempted first degree murder | 911
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Wilmington Police Department have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that happened earlier this month.
According to Detective Kevin Smith with the police department, Lamar Walker was arrested and charged this week for attempted first degree murder.
Walker is accused of a shooting in the Hillcrest community Sept. 13. Neighbors said they heard gunshots around South Walk and Marstellar Streets.
Police say a 32-year-old man was shot. No other details have been released, but detectives are still investigating.
