WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A man faces charges after a breaking and entering, according to officials with the Wilmington Police Department.
Monday night, officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering in process in the 590 block of Sharease Circle.
A neighbor called police to notify them that man was trying to get into a nearby house, but was also ringing her own doorbell.
When authorities arrived on scene, they saw the suspect coming out of the side door of the house at the address mentioned above, and onto the balcony. They apprehended the suspect, 18-year-old Oshea Ishmel Vaughn, whom they found to be in possession of two wallets and a coin that the victim indentified.
He was charged with breaking and entering and larceny and taken to the New Hanover County jail.
He is being held under a $5,000 bond.
