WPD locates missing elderly man with dementia | 911
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Wilmington Police Department located a missing elderly person early Wednesday morning.
According to a WPD spokesperson, officers received a call from the 1710 block of 41st Street around 5:40 a.m. in reference to a missing 73-year-old with dementia, David Walters.
Walters had last been seen Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m.
Officers conducted a search of the immediate area and located Walters around 6:45 a.m., several blocks from his home.
