St. Mary Catholic School celebrates New Orleans style
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Students at St. Mary Catholic School in Wilmington geared up for Lent Tuesday – New Orleans style.
The entire school participated in a parade, complete with a marching band, and ended with a bead toss.
Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, when Lent begins.
Starting Wednesday, students will have to give up a guilty pleasure they enjoy.
