Reeds Diamonds offers chance for couples to win $15,000 ring
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Reeds Jewelers will be hosting its second annual Diamond Dash event Saturday, March 24, according to a release.
Hundreds of area couples will meet at the Wilmington Convention Center that morning at 10 a.m., and will follow clues all over the city sent through text messages.
The couples will be searching in hopes of finding the ultimate grand prize – a hidden $15,000 Scott Kay diamond ring.
Reeds is partnering with SCVNGR, a location-based tool that is supported by Google, to send the clues.
To participate in the dash, which is expected to last until 2 p.m., couples must talk about their love stories.
