WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A movie filmed in Wilmington will premiere at the upcoming 2012 Cape Fear Independent Film Festival Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m., according to a press release from the Cape Fear Independent Film Network.
The film “American Battleship” was filmed on the USS North Carolina, and stars actors Mario Van Peebles and Carl Weathers.
The plot focuses on a group of ships that “wage war” against Earth, and only one crew has the power to save the day.
Following the film, Thunder Levin, the movie’s director will host a Q&A session.
The film will be screened at the Brikhouse on 208 Market Street.
