WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The Cape Fear Museum will host an event Thursday evening to answer questions about its newest exhibit, Fragments of War.
According to a press release, the exhibit uses the Museum’s important Civil War collection to shine a light on some of the ways people in the region experienced the nation’s most significant conflict.
The exhibit combines the stories of wartime symbols with the history of men who served in the Confederate military.
Museum Curator Barbara Rowe and Historian Jan Davidson will host a discussion Thursday, October 18 at 7 p.m. to explain more about the unique artifacts found in the exhibit.
Space is limited to 30 people, register by calling 910-798-4362. Admission for the gallery talk is $5 for members; $7 for non-members.
