‘The Walking Dead’ actress among group doing play reading | Arts & Culture

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A reading of the play August Osage County will take place Thursday night at TheatreNOW, according to an event organizer.

It will feature several actors and actresses, including Jane McNeill of The Walking Dead, Peter Jurasik, David Andrews, Sydney Penny of All My Children, Barbara Weetman, Beth Becka, Tammy Arnold, and Nick Basta.

McNeill is a Whiteville, NC native.

Becka is the lead in the reading. She also teaches acting classes at UNCW and is the founder and owner of Insight School of Acting.

TheatreNOW is located at the corner of Dock and 10th streets.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the reading starts at 7 p.m.

A $5 donation is suggested, and there will be a cash bar.
