Story Extravaganza coming soon to library | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The New Hanover County Public Library is now accepting performer applications for Story Extravaganza 2012. This second annual storytelling festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 28th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Northeast Library, 1241 Military Cutoff Road.
Twenty performances by local artists or groups will be featured at Story Extravaganza. Performances will each be five minutes long and based on the children’s book of the performer’s choice. Performers are not paid but may register for a free table in the vendor area where they may promote services and sell products.
