WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – For the second year in a row, Cape Fear Community College has been named a “Military Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs Magazine.
CFCC Veterans Affairs Coordinator Bob Philpott presented a plaque to CFCC President Dr. Frank Sells during a ceremony Tuesday morning to mark the accomplishment.
Colleges and universities acquire the “Military Friendly School” recognition for standing out in specific areas, like on-campus resources, financial discounts and flexibility.
Bladen Community College and Brunswick Community College also received the recognition.
