Woman robbed while making deposit at bank on Third Street | Crime
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A woman was robbed at gun point while making a night deposit at the First Citizens Bank on S. Third Street around 2:30 on Sunday.
The victim said that as she got out of her car on the Fourth Street side of the business, a man approached her with a hand gun, according to Lucy Crockett with the Wilmington Police Department.
The robber didn't say anything, but pushed her against her car and reportedly grabbed the bank bag. The he ran away, headed south on Fourth Street.
The victim couldn't determine the race of the robber, but said he was approximately 5' 11" with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie, gray and black ski mask, blue jeans and gloves.
The case is under investigation.
