Wilmington man arrested for deadly stabbing | Crime
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A Wilmington man has been arrested for murder.
Anthony Leon Harris has been charged with first degree murder for killing Timothy Wayne Chinn. The victim died after being stabbed multiple times.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, a fight between the two men occurred at a Wilmington home on the 3600 block of Metting Road early Tuesday morning. According to reports, the two men engaged in a fight inside the residence which would ultimately turn deadly.
Harris stabbed the victim several times, resulting in Chinn's death. EMS responded, but Chinn died at the scene.
Harris is being held without bond at the New Hanover County detention facility.
