NHHS and Snipes under lockdown | Crime
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Snipes Academy and New Hanover High School went under lockdown for precautionary reasons Thursday around noon.
According to dispatch, officers with the Wilmington Police Department were attempting to serve warrants but the individual ran away.
Authorities do not believe the individual has weapons, but wanted to secure the schools to be safe.
