Fit for Fun employees discover bullet lying on the floor | Crime

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Wilmington Police Department are investigating a case of property damage to the Fit for Fun Center on Tenth Street that was reported Wednesday morning.

According to police, employees discovered damage to an interior wall and a bullet lying on the floor. Damage was also reported to the Boxing Center next door.

Police believe the damage happened sometime on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day when the buildings were unoccupied.

According to police, the bullet penetrated several walls and a window.
