Wilmington's Got Talent: Helping to bring food to local children in need
Entertainment

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Various performing acts will come together on one stage Friday night for the second annual Wilmington's Got Talent variety show and competition.

More than a dozen acts will compete for a feature in The Beat Magazine by impressing a panel of judges with their talent. The spotlight will shine on area singers, dancers, musicians, magicians and all acts in between.

All proceeds from the event will go to Nourish North Carolina to help bring food to local children in need.

The talent show will take place Friday night at 7:00 inside Thalian Hall. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children, available at the door.

Last year's event featured 12 acts and raised $7,000 for a drug dog for the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office.
