Troubled teen? The WPD wants you to get back the control

WILMINGTON,NC (WECT) - An out of control teenager can be a nightmare for a family, especially when parents do not know their rights and their children's rights. So, the Wilmington Police Department is inviting parents, guardians, youth leaders and educators to their free 'Family and Juvenile Intervention Seminar.'

"You do have rights to discipline your children-- there are resources you can use when your child is out of control. By out of control, meaning, you have a child that doesn't listen-- that's rebellious--that doesn't believe you can put them on restriction," said Linda Rawley with the Wilmington Police Department.
