Smart Start hosts annual breakfast for Children's Champions | Events
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Each year, Smart Start of New Hanover County hosts its annual breakfast for Children’s Champions as an opportunity to recognize New Hanover County citizens nominated by their peers for their outstanding efforts on behalf of young children. Now it’s your chance to nominate individuals, groups, organizations, and agencies you feel have made an impact on a child from the age 0 through 5 years of age.
The deadline for nominations is at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31. Children’s Champions will be honored at their annual Breakfast event for children’s champions on March 28, 2012 at the Burney Center at UNCW.
