WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Register early. That’s the advice officials at Cape Fear Community College is giving students who hope to attend in the fall.
According to CFCC, new student applications are up by 8 percent over this time last year, which indicates there may be more competition for classes and choice schedules.
While many students register for classes online, some still like to ask questions and have a more personal experience. CFCC will open an on-campus advising center where students can talk to a faculty advisor for help designing a schedule.
The center will open for returning students June 25-28 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the campus in downtown Wilmington.
In addition to the on-campus advising center, returning students can also register on-line beginning at 8:00 a.m. on June 25, 2012 until at 5:00 p.m. on August 17, 2012.
In order for new students to register, they must complete the application process and be accepted before they can register.
For more information, please email admissions@cfcc.edu visit the college's admissions office either at the downtown Wilmington or North Campus locations.
