WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The Avett Brothers will be back in Wilmington for the 2013 Azalea Festival. They were the headline act for the festival in 2011.

The group out of Charlotte has opened for the Dave Matthews Band and earlier this year filled a 7,000 seat venue in Cary on its own. The group's latest release is "I and Love and You," which is described as a mix of folk, country, bluegrass, rock and pop.

The Avett Brothers will take place Friday, April 12 in a new location. Azalea Festival organizers recently announced the concerts will move from Trask Coliseum at UNCW to the Front Street parking lot adjacent to CFCC's Schwartz Center.

Organizers said this venue will allow for more people to attend with lower ticket prices. The new venue will be able to hold about 3,000-5,000 more guests.

Organizers with the Azalea Festival hope to have an announcement in a few weeks about the headlining act.
