Chocolate and Wine Festival draws thousands | Events
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Chocolate fiends and wine lovers rejoiced over the weekend, welcoming the annual Wilmington Chocolate and Wine Festival back to the Port City.
Thousands of patrons stopped by the Coastline Conference and Event Center in Downtown Wilmington to sample tasty wines and delectable chocolates. Those who attended this year's event had the chance to visit each of the 20 vendors on site.
The festival is a fundraiser for the Volunteer Older Citizens Action League, an organization in support of seniors throughout the community.
The event will conclude Sunday, February 3. Doors will open at noon and wrap up at 4pm.
