CFCC men to wear pink to support "Pretty in Pink Foundation"
WILMINGTON, NC - You'll see a lot of men wearing pink Thursday at Cape Fear Community College, but it's not in honor of Valentine's Day.
A group of faculty, staff and students at CFCC will don pink shirts, ties and other apparel for the annual "Men in Pink" fundraiser, which supports the Pretty in Pink Foundation, which provides financial assistance and other resources to breast cancer patients without adequate health insurance.
Joy Wade, the program manager of Wilmington Pretty in Pink office will be on hand at a photo op on Feb. 14 at 10:50 a.m. in front of the CFCC bookstore on Front St. in downtown Wilmington.
