WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A new theatre company in Wilmington is offering original shows, movies and music with dinner on the menu.
TheatreNOW presented its first shows back in July. They range from an interactive murder mystery to a kids' variety and adventure show to Sunday brunch with jazz.

Below is information about the different productions from a news release sent by TheatreNOW:
Dawson Hill's Miracle Workers (Comedy Dinner Theatre – Fridays at 6pm)
Theatre guests will witness the behind the scenes antics as Dawson Hill's actors have gone missing and its up to the stage crew to put on the show at the last minute.
Super Saturday Fun Time (Children's Theatre Production – Saturdays at 11am)
An interactive kids adventure show with lunch! Join DOCK, the dog, and his two-legged friends as they uncover mysteries and discover artifacts based on local history.
Murder at the Bellamy Mansion (Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre – Saturdays at 6pm)
Guests are invited to this year's Wilmington Historical Attractions and Tours (WHAT) awards banquet at the stately Bellamy Mansion and find that history can be dangerous. Audience chooses a detective to help unwrap the mystery.
Sunday Jazz Gospel Brunch (Sundays from 10am-2pm)
Local jazz and gospel musicians, Marc Siegel and Friends entertain while families and friends enjoy a traditional southern brunch buffet.
Movie Night (Sundays at 6:30pm; check website for weekly movie listings)
The big screen drops down on the TheatreNOW stage for a weekly movie event with the kitchen open for some tasty treats.
Food will be provided under the direction of Chef Denise Gordon and will offer a variety of options, including three-course table service, traditional southern buffet, and upscale pub fare, during each performance. There is also a bar.
TheatreNOW is located at the corner of 10th and Dock Streets in downtown Wilmington. The venue seats 65 people and has been equipped with audiovisual, lighting and production technology, as well as a full kitchen.
TheatreNOW is also the home to the non-profit organization Theatre Network of Wilmington, Inc., which helps teach school-aged children about theatre/arts.
