WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Cape Fear Community College was transformed into the University of Chicago Tuesday for scenes for the new NBC show Revolution.

University of Chicago signs were hung around the filming location. Also, cars with Illinois license plates were spotted in downtown Wilmington. Parts of Revolution are supposed to take place in Chicago.

Actors Tim Guinee and Elizabeth Mitchell, who is best known for her role on Lost, worked on some scenes.

Guinee wrote on Twitter, "Okay, big, giant talent crush on Elizabeth Mitchell. What a smart, funny, joy she is."

Fake gunfire was used during a scene that was shot Tuesday. Earlier in the day, Front Street was closed to film scenes for the show, which will air Sept. 17 on NBC.
