Homeowners learn home improvement skills | Home Improvement

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The weekend is always a good time for some
work around the house, but what if you don't know where to begin? The
professionals showed everyone how it's done in Downtown Wilmington for free
this weekend.

It was all part of the 20th annual Home
Builder's Association Home Expo Remodeling Show. Hands on demonstrations and
seminars showed folks how to do work inside and outside their homes.

Organizers said more than 80 vendors came
out to what they're calling the largest home show in the area.

"This time of the
year people start thinking about what they're going to do for the spring time,"
said Home Builder's Association special events director Bryan Sartin. "That's
why we have the seminars going on about how to redo your yard and garden. We
also have vendors on hand to start planning that remodel."

He said they're already
starting to plan for next year's show.
