ILM sees decrease in booked Thanksgiving flights | News

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Thanksgiving
is one of the most traveled holidays of the year, but in 2011, the holiday saw a drop in sales at Wilmington's ILM Airport.

According to the airport, there
was a slight decrease in booked flights this year compared to 2010.

However, the airport
director said that people buying tickets at the last minute made up the
difference, meaning the airport still matched last year's record-setting number
of holiday passengers.
