Cinemax-based TV series, lottery commercial to film in Wilmington | News
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Producers for a dramatic television series plan to film a scene in Wilmington next month.
Banshee, which will air on Cinemax, is a drama that focuses on an ex-con who assumes the identity of a Pennsylvania sheriff and continues his criminal ways.
The drama is mostly filmed in the Charlotte area. However, the city of Wilmington has permitted the production to film on S. Front Street next Wednesday. The plan is to film a martial arts scene.
This work continues a busy summer of production for local film workers. Iron Man 3, Somebody's Child and Safe Haven are currently filming in the area.
Additionally, a lottery commercial will be filmed in Sterling Place.
