WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Wells Fargo awarded Cape Fear Community College a $5,000 grant for scholarships.
The scholarship is given to a student enrolled in business programs or to students with a pre-major in business administration, accounting, finance, or marketing who plan to transfer to a four-year institution after finishing their Associates of Arts degree.
According to CFCC, scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit and at least 51 percent of those receiving scholarships will be low to moderate income.
“We’re proud to partner with the CFCC Foundation to provide scholarships. We recognize the value that Cape Fear Community College provides to our region and to each individual it serves,” said Randy Tomsic, Wells Fargo Wilmington Market President.
