Margaret Robison from CFCC Foundation wins Karl Davis Leadership Award
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Margaret Robison of the Cape Fear Community College Foundation was honored with the Karl Davis Leadership Wilmington Alumnus of the Year Award for 2012.
Robison received the award at a ceremony held by the Wilmington Chamber Foundation.
Robison leads the charge to raise money for students who may not be able to attend college without financial help.
The Karl Davis Award is named for WECT's former General Manager, who was killed in a motorcycle crash in 2008.
Davis was very active in the Wilmington community. He was known as a visionary and community leader. Davis was also a graduate of Leadership Wilmington.
The recipient of the award must also be a graduate of Leadership Wilmington and must also make a difference in the community.
