Catch the NHHS Wildcat games on the radio | News

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – You can listen to all New Hanover High School Wildcat varsity football games on the radio this fall. You can catch all the action on Sunny 104.5.

"The booster club is excited about the relationship with Sunny 104.5 and looks forward to having all football games on the radio as well as streamed online so the games are available to out of town family, friends, and supporters of New Hanover High School," said New Hanover High School booster club president Denise Szaloky.

The game announcers will all be graduates of New Hanover High School and former Wildcat players. Terry Horton, who called the New Hanover games in the 1990s, will be the play-by-play announcer.

Jimmy Southerland will handle the game analysis and Parker Southerland will offer insights as a sideline reporter.

The first game will be broadcast this Friday when the Wildcats take on Goldsboro at Legion Stadium.
