Leaders meet for Coastal Horizons annual dinner meeting | News

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Community leaders came together Wednesday night for the 42nd annual Coastal Horizons dinner.

The event was at the Hilton Riverside in Downtown Wilmington.

Coastal Horizons helps those in need - by offering crisis intervention services and helps with substance abuse and mental health treatment.

The keynote speaker tonight was Albert Delia - who's the acting Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

He praised the work done by Coastal Horizons in our community...and said the group is a great partner with the state.

Coastal Horizons also operates a rape crisis center - which provides 24-hour a day counseling, information and help to victims of sexual assault.
