More parking being developed in downtown Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – An empty gravel lot next to the City Parking Deck in downtown Wilmington will soon become public parking.
A development company in Wilmington recently bought the property and is in the process of creating a 21-space parking lot.
The developers have installed new lighting in the area and are working on landscaping and installing electronic meters.
The lot will be managed by Lanier Parking and will have similar rates as the parking deck.
Developers say the lot will be open in the next two weeks.
