Community Arts Center honors Donn Ansell | News
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington City Council unanimously adopted a resolution Tuesday, October 16 to name the Lower Atrium Studio in the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center in honor of the late Donn Ansell, according to a news release.
Donn Ansell was a local actor, media personality and supporter of the Thalian Association, North Carolina's oldest community theater.
"Donn Ansell was an avid supporter of Community Theater and all of the arts in the community and we wanted to memorialize his many contributions," said Susan Habas, Executive Director of Tahlian Association.
A dedication ceremony for the Donn Ansell Atrium Studio will take place at a later date.
