Libert taking over CFCC men's soccer program | News
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Cape Fear Community College has named Chris Libert the Sea Devils new men's soccer coach.
Libert, who was the Sea Devils women's head coach, takes over for Matt Sadler who left Cape Fear to become the General Manager of the Wilmington Hammerheads.
In seven seasons as the women's head coach Libert had a record of 98-23-7, and was 76-6-3 in conference play. He won five Region 10 tournament title five times and was the Region 10 coach-of-the-year six times. This past season he led the Sea Devils to a 15-3-1 record.
According to Cape Fear Athletic Director Robert McGee a national search for a new women's coach is underway.
