WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington City Manager Sterling Cheatham is recommending that City Council moves forward with repairing the Water Street Parking Deck.
According to a memo, these repairs would allow the city to use the deck for three to five years while the city evaluates their long term plans.
If Council approves the plan, the city will move forward with demolishing the Grace Street entrance ramp, and make temporary repairs to the rest of the structure.
City Council will vote on the nearly $800,000 proposal at their meeting on Tuesday.
