WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Henrietta III is going in for a tune-up.
The boat set sail from Wilmington Monday morning to head to Norfolk, Virginia. The Henrietta III will be lifted from the water in Colonna's Shipyard with what is dubbed the "world's largest travel-lift" and then inspected. The bottom half will also be repainted.
Henrietta III should be back home in Wilmington by the end of next month, according to a news release.
