WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Hundreds of big kids took over the Children's Museum of Wilmington on Friday night for the first annual "Pizza-Putt."
For just 18 dollars, participants got to play 18 holes of mini-golf, and sample 18 different styles of pizza and beer.
Over three hundred people attended the event and organizers say they raised over $5,000 dollars for the historic downtown museum.
Michelle Peck, with the Children's Museum, says they hope to use that money to buy a new exhibit for the kids to enjoy.
"It would be amazing to see the kids faces when we have that brand new exhibit," said Peck.
"We've been here a while, so we have great exhibits, but we would really like to add a new one, and we're really excited about that."
Organizers say this year's event was such a huge success, they plan to do it all again next year.
