One day after early voting began in North Carolina, the Democratic National Committee's and Obama for America's "Gotta Vote" bus tour rolled through the state.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – One day after early voting began in North Carolina, the Democratic National Committee's and Obama for America's "Gotta Vote" bus tour rolled through the state.

The bus stopped in Wilmington around lunchtime to encourage citizens to vote and help them make sure they are registered.

The tour started the day in Jacksonville and finished up in Fayetteville. The bus will stay in the state through the end of the week.

Secretary of State Elaine Marshall and Lt. Governor Walter Dalton were special guests for the stop in Wilmington.

Early voting in North Carolina will continue through November 3. During early vote, North Carolinians can register and vote at the same time at any early vote site in their county.
