Gravity Records participates in Record Store Day festivities on Saturday
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) — Gravity Records music store is inviting the public to Record Store Day on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
This one day event celebrates independently owned stores by bringing together artists to celebrate the art of music.
The store, located at 125 S. Kerr Ave., will reportedly be offering limited edition releases, as well as door prizes from various local businesses.
Over 700 record stores across the country and hundreds internationally are expected to celebrate Record Store Day, according to a press release. Ozzy Osbourne is also serving as this year’s official ambassador for the event.
“This is a chance for everyone to learn more about what music is out there and all that we have to offer here at Gravity Records,” said owner Matt Keen, in a statement.
